I was at the Whole Foods yesterday and they had something called a “Meyer’s Lemon” in the produce section, which looked like a lemon only much orangerer, and a helpful sign explained that it is indeed a cross between a lemon and an orange, developed in China.
My question: if you create a cross between a lemon and an orange, why on earth wouldn’t you call it a “lorange”?
Because then you could totally feed it to a liger.
And it would make a dandy shampoo scent from L’Oreal…
In fact, they could make a shampoo for ligers! They could call it L’Orange for L’Igers by L’Oreal! Here, kitty, time for your groomies …
